Ideal for families, the Hotel El Paso is a traditional Mexican hacienda where authentic décor and charming gardens will take you back to the days of colonial Mexico. Lay back and relax beside the hotel’s enormous pool, which features a sunken pirate ship where children can splash around for hours. Within the hotel there are a variety of bars, restaurants, snack bars and shops. "Mérida" buffet restaurant, "El Coyote" is an American-Mexican diner which is inspired by the world of Universal movies. "Club Maya" is a poolside restaurant. For drinks there are two hotel bars, "La Bahía" and "Bar Maya”.

Activities include a volleyball court, children’s garden maze and games area. Guests can also use the tennis courts at the Hotel Villa Mediterranea.

For families: Free access to "Campo Aventura", a unique hotel-run mini-club offering a full range of services to entertain children from 4 to 12 year olds. Daily and evening entertainment in the hotel or in the park. Entertainment is provided night and day either in the park or hotel and there's a free kids' club for the children (ages 4 – 12).

Location: within PortAventura resort. Just 5 minutes walk away from PortAventura Park front gates and PortAventura Aquatic Park. 10 minutes to the Beach Club by shuttle bus (see below for opening dates). Only 10 minutes from Salou town centre by car and 1 hour to Barcelona.  Easy access to the resort's own railway station which connects to local town Tarragona and on to Barcelona.
